Viñedos Puertas LTDA is a family-owned winery that has been producing high-quality wines since its establishment in 1950. Founded by José Puertas Pons, the vineyard started with 80 hectares of vineyards irrigated by waters from the Andes Mountains. The winery, located in Convento Viejo, Curicó Valley, had a capacity for one million liters, and was named “The Miracle”. Initially, the company sold grapes, bulk wines and offered maquila services, providing benefits to important wine companies in Chile and creating employment and development in the adjacent areas.
With time, Viñedos Puertas became one of the most successful and endorsed wine producers in the central area, giving prestige to the Curicó Valley for its fertile lands and human quality of its people.
