A courtyard in the heart of Monteforte d’Alpone (Verona), a wine-growing village, where one family generation by generation take care of the vineyards with love and passion. This is the Tenuta Solar of Bolla Egidio.

For the winemaking they use only grapes from them vineyards located in the classic area called “Val de l’acqua” of Soave zone. Only in this way they can certify the origin of 100% Garganega grapes, from native and cru vines, guaranteeing the quality of the product that is a fundamental factor that guides all processing.

The courtyard, or rather, the family winery, is the place where they make winesa and the jewel of the house is the fruit storage. There the Garganega grapes for the production of Recioto are not laid out, but hung from a net. This approach offers a better ventilation and drying system for the grapes and shows how much their work is oriented, first of all, to the quality of the product and traditions.

Very recently, Tenuta Solar di Bolla Egidio has been recognized and awarded THREE GOLD Medal and a SILVER Medal by China Awards 2020 – Shanghai Paper, Tenuta Solar di Bolla Egidio wines are indeed the best quality.

Interview of Mr. Andrea Bolla – Owner/Winemaker

Question 1: Do you already export to China ? If yes, where ? If no, what type of importers & distributors are you looking for in China ?

Answer : We do not export to China and we are looking for importers who are searching for high quality wines, which are not found in large distribution.

Question 2: What is the most unique and qualitative part of your products, different from competitors ?

Answer : Our products are exclusively made with pure Garganega grapes which is the Soave grape, we follow the traditions by bringing the true flavor and aroma of the authentic Soave to the tables. Then we also produce a Durello (sparkling wine), by producing this product we have tried to create an indigenous wine that maintains traditions and has its own elegance.

Question 3: When did you start to export your brand worldwide, and what is your development plan for the next years ?

Answer : We have recently started to export abroad and we hope to expand our market in the future, looking for new customers who love the true and authentic flavors of these products
