Since 1733, the family has owned and operated a winery with a rich history. Fields Cover 74 hectares, with 64 hectares set up for AOP. The soils come in a variety of varieties. Yearly The annual output is around 3000 hl.
All of SCEA Château de Mattes products are made in their own cellar. They have the following grape varieties: chiraz, merlot, and cabernet sauvignon. (the most important), followed by grenache, mourvedre, and carignan, each independently. Cabernet sauvignon and Cabernet franc are two varieties of cabernet sauvignon.
For whites, they currently have Viognier and chardonnay Each of their parcels is around 3 hectares in size and is gathered/vinified independently; Some varieties are aged in barrels. Of course, we concentrate on healthy grapes. Exceptionally vigorous wines, thanks to the sun and winds that characterize this region Low relative humidity. SCEA Château de Mattes offer several wines, coming from cask ageing, like BF and APOLLON;
La cuvée CHEVREUSE, is a blended wine, based on chiraz, from oak ageing, and margaux.
La cuvée CLOS REDON, is a pure chiraz, concentrated, and fruity La cuvée SABRAN, our best off, is a blend of chiraz, grenache, and sometimes carignan.
La cuvée DIONYSOS is a balanced blend of chiraz, grenache, mourvedre, very easy wine.
Usually, these wines can be kept between 1-20 years after the very year .
SCEA Château de Mattes wines have received many awards in the most famous wine shows like Paris, or Macon, or Caves Particulières, as well as from GUIDE HACHETTE des Vins (since 1996).

Answer : YES TO JAPAN for more than 20 years.

Answers : We do want to offer the best quality products at a competitive price
Question 3: When did you start to export your brand worldwide, and what is your development plan for the next years ?
Answers : We started to export in 1992.
