MAD - Haus Marienberg_Shanghai Paper

MAD – Haus Marienberg is a family winery in Oggau on the west bank of Lake Neusiedl is one of the big names in the Burgenland winegrowing world. No wonder, the family has devoted itself to viticulture with great dedication since the founding of the 50 hectare winery in 1786.

The idea of quality has always been decisive for them.

Sebastian and Tobias Siess – the eighth generation – took over the winery in 2018 and work with great commitment and support from the entire extended family.

The goal is to press wines with character and depth. Wines that tell of the climate, the soils and the people who produce them. The Siess brothers are convinced that a great wine is alive, that it needs to change and mature.
