Upperhand Gin, have the mission to tell the story of whom, having a dream or a vision, maybe a bit different from all the others, with perseverance, hard work and strongly believing in themselves get the upper hand against all the predictions of the negative people that was treating them as underdog.

Question 1: Do you already export to CHINA ? If yes, where ? If no, what type of importers & distributors are you looking for in CHINA ?

We are looking to find importers & distributors for the on trade/off trade channels and Travel Retail. Partners that believe in new brands and that will support us to build the brand awareness. 

Question 2: What is the most unique and qualitative part of your products, different from competitors ?

Upperhand is a gin that take a different path. We went for the simplicity. I believe simplicity is the faster way to reach and stay in the heart of the people. We created a gin with only 4 botanicals, (Juniper, Dill, Basil and Lemon). Even if only with 4 botanicals, it has is character, unique and clearly recognizable in a blind tasting, but in the same time versatile in order to be mixed and giving the bartender the opportunity to express themselves at the best. An adding value using these botanicals is that suits perfectly also in kitchen recipes with the Dill and the Basil. A 360° experience.

Question 3: When did you start to export your brand worldwide, and what is your development plan for the next years 

The first pallet left our warehouse in May 2019. At today we are present in 6 markets. We are producing small batches with numbered bottles, but we are planning to increase the production proportionally with increasing demand.

We are a young and dynamic company and our aim is to improve our presence in the world.
