iHerb, Unilever Group, Moulin Roty, Sunshine Wholesale Mart, ExoAtlet and Karimoku join the Hongqiao Import Commodity Exhibition And Trading Center to promote their products to domestic consumers.

Meanwhile, Karimoku’s manager, Mao Jingting expects to see customers not only from Shanghai but also from cities in the Yangtze River Delta.

Hongqiao Business District Management Committee deputy director Fu Naixun points out that the center will serve as the major platform offering a one-stop trading services to support the China International Import Expo. It aims to become a global hub for commodities, bringing together the world’s best products and brands with a reputation for high quality. Over 400 brands form part of the trade center from 26 countries all over the world.

As a follow up to the positive response to the trade center, more than 60 companies or so have shown an intention to enter the center which would introduce more than 200 brands, and by the end of the month, a bonded logistics warehouse is expected to be finished.

The center subsequently released its official logo which is made up of four “i”s,: international, import, innovative and infinity, descriptive of what the trade center’s core.
