Vignobles Gabriel & Co has abandoned the traditional wine trade system in favor of commitment and devotion. Jean-François Reaud has raised the number of partner winegrowers and producers from four to roughly twenty, believing that cooperation and commercial independence are a guarantee of quality.
They work together in a pleasant and collaborative manner, as they are bound by a supplier contract for all or part of their production. And occasionally the synergy goes even further: in 2015, Jean-François Reaud purchased Château Haut Sociondo, a Blaye treasure and a Vignobles Gabriel & Co partner since 2012.
In order to better control the sales and distribution of its wines, Vignobles Gabriel & Co aspires to negotiate totally and directly with purchasers. Vignobles Gabriel & Co, in the same spirit of independence, has a totally independent production chain, including its own bottling line, which allows it to ensure reliability and responsiveness.
As a result, Vignobles Gabriel & Co is unrestricted by the Bordeaux wine exchange, and can offer a broad, consistent range of Rive Droite wines that accurately reflect the character of each estate and the diversity of their appellations: Bordeaux, Bordeaux Supérieur, Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux, Côtes de Bourg, Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux, Francs Côtes de Bois, Francs Côtes de Bo. The Côtes de Bordeaux appellation, established in 2009, is a collection of classic Right Bank vineyards with a variety of terroirs. So these grapes have every reason to produce delightful, elegant, and delicious wines, and Vignobles Gabriel & Co is excited to share them with you.
Very recently, Vignobles Gabriel & Co has been recognized and awarded TWO GOLD Medal Awards by China Wines & Spirits Awards 2021 – Shangai Paper:
